Jing Method™ Advanced Clinical Massage

Results-driven treatment to help people living with chronic pain, injury, restricted movement, tension and stress.

What is Jing Method™ Advanced Clinical Massage?
The Jing Method™ combines advanced Eastern and Western bodywork techniques with a strong clinical understanding of how pain develops and persists. Rather than simply treating symptoms, this approach focuses on identifying and addressing the underlying causes of discomfort and supporting long-term change.

Treatments may include a tailored combination of myofascial release, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, stretching, and the use of heat to help reduce pain, restore movement, and improve overall function. The approach recognises that chronic pain is complex and can be amplified by our body’s central nervous system, so it is gentle and holistic in approach, so can even help with people with complex conditions such as Fibromyalgia, ME and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome.

What to Expect

Every treatment is tailored to you, your body, and the goals agreed with you

In-depth first session

Your initial appointment includes a comprehensive consultation and range of motion assessment. This allows us to understand your pain history, lifestyle factors, and movement patterns, and to agree on a clear treatment plan.

First session: approx. 90 minutes

including around 50 minutes of hands-on treatment.

Focused clinical treatment

Follow-up sessions include 45–50 minutes of targeted, hands-on therapy within a 60-minute appointment, focusing on the areas most relevant to your progress.

Ongoing reassessment

Your pain levels and movement are reviewed before and after treatment to track changes and guide the sessions.

Personalised aftercare

You’ll receive simple, practical aftercare to support your progress between sessions. This may include stretches, mobility work, strengthening exercises, or breath-work.

The ‘Fix in Six’ Approach

A key part of the Jing Method is the ‘Fix in Six’ programme, designed to create meaningful change in pain and movement over a structured course of treatment. This typically involves a series of weekly or fortnightly sessions, combined with a tailored home-care plan. Each session builds on the previous one, adapting to how your body responds, with the aim of reducing pain and improving function in a realistic and sustainable way.

Conditions It May Help With

Clinical Massage is commonly used to support:

Results & Ongoing Care
Everyone responds differently, but many people notice some improvement within 1–3 sessions.

For longer-term or chronic conditions, a course of 6–8 treatments is often recommended to achieve more lasting results. Following this, maintenance sessions every 4–6 weeks can help manage symptoms, maintain progress and support your overall wellbeing.

Your comfort, mobility, and quality of life are at the heart of this approach. This isn’t just about short-term relief; it’s about helping you move better, feel better, and stay that way.

Steve’s treatment was fantastic. The session was really tailored to what I needed, as well as being an all round enjoyable experience. After just one treatment, there was a noticeable improvement in my shin and ankle, which genuinely impressed me. His skills and professionalism were 10/10. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Steve to others.

What a stroke of luck to have found Steve online whilst we were planning our short break in Bacton. Both myself and my husband pre booked and experienced the most relaxing massages at Beachside in Steve’s comfortable and tranquil studio. The whole visit really enhanced the total switch off from normal life for a few days for us. Even a week later my shoulders still feel 6 inches lower than before. Steve is a kind and gentle soul who put us both at ease from the moment we arrived. Thank you so much, we will be back!

I recently had my first hot stone massage with Steve. First, this won't be my last as the whole experience was truly amazing. Second, Steve is attentive from the moment you step into the room. He listens to your needs and makes sure you feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the experience. It truly was a relaxing experience and cannot wait to return for my next appointment.
