I have a professional need and legitimate interest to collect personal information about your health in order to provide the best and safest possible treatment to you.
By requesting treatment and my agreement to the provision of that treatment, a contract is formed.
I will also need to keep your contact details in order to arrange appointments, which is also a legitimate interest.
I have a legal obligation to retain your records indefinitely to ensure that both you and I are covered by my insurance and so that I can provide you with the best possible care in the future.
I am also required by HMRC to maintain accounts, and your data will also be used by my payment provider and relevant banking systems.
All paper records are stored in locked cabinets, and appropriate measures are taken to secure any records that are kept online.
Unless required by law, I will NOT share your data with without your explicit written consent.
I am registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office, and a copy of my Data Protecti on Policy is available upon request.
This policy will be regularly reviewed and updated to reflect any changes in data handling practices or regulatory requirements. This will be communicated to relevant individuals and ensure that they are fully aware of any changes.
